How to play
Six balls. One mystery cricketer. A new puzzle every day.
The goal
Guess the mystery cricketer in 6 balls — the six balls of an over. A new puzzle goes live at 00:00 UTC, and everyone in the world plays the same one.
The clue grid
Every guess fills a row in the grid with four columns. Green means an exact match, yellow means close, grey means off:
- Country — the player's international side (12 ICC full members).
- Role — batter, bowler, all-rounder, wicketkeeper.
- Era — debut decade. Arrows point you toward the mystery player's era.
- Teams — career-path: how many of the mystery player's IPL / international sides this guess overlaps with.
The heat scale
Each ball in the over also colours by overall closeness — the same scale you'll see in your share:
- Cold — nothing matched.
- Warm — a partial match.
- Hot — multiple partials.
- Close — almost there.
- Correct — you got it.
Sharing
The share card is spoiler-free: just six coloured circles showing the shape of your over, plus the score. Drop it in a chat or thread and challenge a friend.

Your streak counts consecutive days solved. Today's puzzle is at /; past puzzles live in the archive. Archive plays save your progress but don't affect your stats — only today counts.
